We're in Chapter 3, as the Lord invites us into deeper sanctification and holiness, repentance as necessary, and encouragement.

Revelation Session 04 - Sardis the dead church. But first Rosh Hashanah, and Trumpets - 9.19.20

Today is Sept 19, Rush Hashanah. It is more than Hebrew-historic. My thoughts are it is likely prophetic, related to our study of Revelation. We certainly don't want to miss what is happening in the heavenly realms. And we look into the brief but serious admonition and warning to the church of Sardis - looks sort of good, but is dead. Our Lord is coming back for His live bride.

Isaiah 66 - the final chapter of this amazing book

We've concluded studying Isaiah - although the book itself is awaiting fulfillment. Stay tuned, saints. This is why we are here on earth - so that our great Lord might be represented in truth and proclaimed in love, and glorified in and through us. Bless you all for coming along on this journey.

Isaiah 65 - 8.15.20

Intense. Intent. In Tents.
Our outlook and actions re our purposes, our lives as pilgrims passing through a broken world, and the degree of effort we determine to put forth for the causes of our great God and His Kingdom plans, affect the world around us, assure us our success, posture us for our reward in Him. Tough times, God-intended shaking world, amazing soon and coming King. And we are His.

Isaaiah 64 - 8.1.20

We complete Isaiah 63, take some anointed bunny trails, and then go into chapter 64, where the prophet cries out to the Lord to tear open the heavenly realms, and come down. Situations on earth require His return.

O that You would rend the heavens and come down.
Amen. That will be the eventual cry of the Church and of His Israel.

Isaiah 63 7.25.20

These are weighty verses revealing the intensity of events as our Lord appears on earth. As Paul mentioned in 1 Corinthians, these things were written for our edification, upon whom the ends of the ages has come. There's reference to supportive and complementary verses in Zechariah, Joel and elsewhere, as the Echad (whole/complete) word of the Lord testifies to itself as only the Lord can do. It is written for our encouragement and for our transformation.

Isa 62 7.18.20

The powerfully prophetic book of Isaiah points us to the conclusion of this age. These final chapters appropriately dial into the priority of Jerusalem/Israel/Zion. The faithful covenant plans of our great God are the plans and purposes that want to be our plans and purposes.
In that understanding and alignment is our success and safety and security. And nowhere else. To be alive in these shaking days of harvest is remarkable. To be aware of the Lord's plans is critical. To be walking in submission to the timing and purposes of the Spirit is glorious.
