Hezekiah - a bunny trail into a king's life, for us to succeed as kings.

Peter calls us a royal priesthood (1Pet 1:9)

John is told "...and he has made us kings and priests" (Rev 1:6)

Paul tells us we'll be judging angels (1 Cor 6:2)

There is much to learn from the stories of the kings, and we spend this week going into 2 Chron and 2 Kings to learn from Hezekiah, a great king. Not a perfect king (that's Jesus), but truly a great king.

 

 

 

 

Isaiah 36-37.5 - Sennacherib illustrates the lies of our adversary

Satan is never cited as being creative, so we can learn from the past how he operates through lies, counterfeit partial-truths, attempts at intimidation, terrorization, etc. Meanwhile Hezekiah is disclosed to us in 2 Kings and of course in Isaiah as a good king who trusted the Lord. Much is to be revealed in this discussion so that we might be successful in our walks w the Lord always, and particularly in trying times.

Isaiah 35 - future glory. it will be worth it all

This chapter assures us of great victory and reward. The podcast looks at Isaiah  chapter, at Ezek 36, at Israel, at the sovereignty of God in calling forth His last days worshipers.

Isa 34 - 1.4.2020

This is not an easy chapter, but then again:
A. Isaiah was not speaking about an upcoming easy time of living; and

B. The word in large part is also awaiting fuller-fillment prior to the return of Messiah.

Happily, chapter 35 is about the Future Glory Of Zion - which is an non-negotiable as anything else in the eternal Word. That's for next time.

Our good Lord has a good, albeit uncomfortable plan for a mostly disobedient and out of order planet and people, the end result being quite spectacular, and the great promise to all His people throughout the ages is the assurance of a Comforter even when life does not present itself comfortable.

 

 

 

Habakkuk - 12.28.19

Habukkuk is a weighty three-chapter prophecy that only makes sense when your doctrinal lens is wiped clean by the spirit of the Lord - and then its blossoms into glorious encouragement during even the toughest of times, as the Lord intended in the first place.

NOTE: This GATHERING of saints was planned at the last minute, and this RECORDING was begun about two minutes after the gathering had begun.

Isa 31-32.8 - He is our God. Only Him

Heading towards a time of trouble (in fact ANY time of trouble) Isaiah is telling the folks (us included) that the one and only God, our God, deserves and in fact demands to be our only deliverer. That is a good thing.

Isaiah 30

Assyria will come down with tambourines. That is the word of the Lord.

The call for, and anointing upon, Spirit-infused worship is key the success of the work of the Lord. That intended purpose and plan of God explains the battle for and also the battle against true worship, true worshipers, and everything pertaining to those plans of heaven, especially in this season.

Isa 28.5-Isa 29

Besides the glory of the eternal truths of all scripture, we specifically delve into some great words that continue to await fulfillment on our watch, and we culminate chapter 29 (and actually sneak a quick peek into chapter 30) as we start finding our way into a profound revelation about the conclusion of this Age - how the people of God will be refined and advanced to their position of rule and reigning alongside and with a most-perfect God.

And we start looking into the glory of, and desperate need for, anointed worship and anointed prophecy in these days - no more and no less than what God Himself has planned and purposed.

Our next gathering will go deeper into Isaiah 30, from verse 1. Prophecy and Worship - the intent, the potential, the warfare against it, and the success when both are conducted in holiness and with Holy Spirit infusion.

Isaiah 27-28.5 11.2.19

Powerful (and daily-useful) revelation regarding eternal Kingdom principles and policies are presented for all people for all seasons, particularly those closest ever to the end of the ages. Paul, referencing OK writings, puts it this way:

1 Corinthians 10:11
¹¹ Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come. (NKJV Strong's)

Nations at all times and everywhere, obedient or not, are subject to laws of God. Gravity for example happens to us all, as do the supernatural laws and ordinances, about which we as students of the word of God, are invited to learn and understand.

Blessings come w understanding and compliance, otherwise those same principles work against us individually and nationally.

Isaiah 26

Isaiah reveals a politically incorrect truth regarding grace shown to the wicked, and declares the necessity and purpose of judgment in glorifying and revealing the fullness of almighty God.

We're promised that the ones whose minds are stayed on Him are assured perfect peace. Reminds us of Paul in Philippians 4:6-7.

The prophet also paints a rather graphic picture regarding the failure of Israel to bring forth the purposes and testimony of God to a desperate world.
